Free Quilting Tips

March 2004

When you are doing machine quilting, especially when using a standard sewing machine, don't worry about all that fabric yet to be quilted. Just concentrate on the part that is in front of your hands, and do the very best job you can on just that part. Then move to the next section. No need to rush about it. You want the whole to be equal to the sum of its parts! (Didn't I hear that somewhere?) So if you do your very best on each section, you will be more than pleased with the overall look of your finished beautiful quilt! (Credit for this gem of wisdom is mainly from Caryl Bryer Fallert.)
