Free Quilting Tips
June 2004Having a problem getting those pencil and ink markings
from your quilt tops? Here is a 'solution' to this problem.
1/4 cup of water, add 7-8 drops of Palmolive Dish
Detergent and 3/4 cup rubbing alcohol.
Use a toothbrush and scrub in a circular motion gently.
Rinse and dry. Remember never to iron on top of the pencil
or pen line, this will set the ink and pencil mark and make
it very difficult to remove, if at all. This is true of chalk arks
also, hard to remove after being ironed over. |
