Teaching Schedule

"My Quilting Journey" is the title of my lecture, which is held in conjunction with a trunk show of my quilts.  The trunk show consists of about 20  quilts, many of which have been featured in books by Jan Krentz (Lone Star Quilts, Hunter Star Quilts, Diamond Landscape Quilts, Quick Star Quilts, and Quick Diamond Quilts), Cindy Rymer (Shoreline Quilts) and Blue Ribbon Quilts (Linda Causee and Rita Weiss.

I have appeared on America Quilts Creatively, PBS, with Sue Haussman (2003) and Simply Quilts, HGTV with Alex Anderson (2004). A great honor was my nomination for Teacher of the Year for Professional Quilter Magazine.

My workshops include "Quilt Your Favorite Photos" on transforming photos into applique patterns for pictorial quilts (best if done in a two day workshop).  My book was inspired by my City Quilts of San Diego, San Francisco, California Missions, Texas, Hawaii, and Washington, DC.

My other workshops include Lone Star and Diamond Landscapes (both 2 day workshops.

My Lecture/Trunk Show fee is $350.00.  A one day workshop is $400 and two day $600.

I am willing to stay in the home of a non-smoking quilter with no pets, with a room and bath to myself.

San Diego Block by Block 5:00 - 9:00pm

Cozy Quilt Shop, Rancho San Diego, CA - 12:00 - 4:00This class will create the many blocks that make up the "Celebrate San Diego" quilt.  The class starts in August and will be a monthly class until the 13 blocks are completed.  The technique is using fusible web with machine applique.  If you have not tried this technique, you will be delighted at how easy it is to do.  Join us in celebrating our San Diego!
